Welcome to Creative Warrior Photography! We are a husband and wife team who have been shooting together since 2007. Whether you are searching for a photographer or are simply here to browse, we hope you our vision of the world.

What will you see here?
A little bit of everything. We take cameras with us wherever we go, and work hard to capture the people, animals, and landscapes of our travels. We consider Alaska "home," and have included a gallery of Alaskana to allow you a glimpse into the challenging and captivating place that has our souls.

Our work has been published in online and print publications, including The Infinite Field Magazine, Gosport, Dispatch, Coronado Eagle and Tribune, Bluejacket, and other regional outlets.

Why "Creative Warrior?"
We believe that a photographer's fundamental challenge is to show viewers what the world looks like to them through the filters of their ideas, visions, dreams, and ultimately, through their lens. Our name was chosen to tell you a little bit about our vision, how it was formed, and why it is unique.

We are both active-duty officers (Jason, enlisted U.S. Marine Corps 1999, commissioned 2006; Jan, U.S. Navy, commissioned 2006) who were commissioned through the United States Naval Academy in 2006. Service to our country has allowed us to see much, feel much, and meet many amazing souls. We believe that the discipline and structure inherent to a military lifestyle have enhanced our creative processes as individuals and as a team.
